MS. MORNIN: Three jobs, yes.
THE PRESIDENT: Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that. (Applause.) Get any sleep? (Laughter.)

(3 posts)I'm 22 now, when I was 19 I started working for a GM supplier. I'm apart of the 710 union (missouri) but live in (kansas). I started at 14.50$/hour and am at max pay of 20.55$/hour. Get time and a half for anything over 8 hours a day and if I work on my 7th day get double pay. It's been decent money for the past 2 1/2 years. However times are at a end for me. Since another company got the chevy malibu seats contract, i'll be laid off by august of '12. Before this I worked at fast food places, and was a GS at oil and tire shops. I'm not really sure what will happen, but I know if you work hard and aren't a typical lazy bitchy union guy then you can become something, which I hope to do. However if things go for the worst, i've always got my 2 1/2 months worth of bottled water and canned food. Not to mention my glock if things get that bad. I'd be one un happy camper if I only had 25$ a month for my own money to enjoy myself with lol.
