did he refer to "wine and cheese" Democrats while the Repubs are suckin' down caviar and champagne?

But Senator Warren handled him. From the heart.

Wine & cheese, elitist Democrats?

Where did this idea, as well as this phrase, come from -- because it came across as projection-like. If we're wine & cheese, it's likely
to be because that's all we'd be able to afford if the Republicans had their way. Yellowtail & Kraft cheese-in-a-can.

So are those Matthews' words, or did he hear it from an instigating Republican contact of his? Talk about left-field.

I was extremely impressed with Elizabeth Warren. There's absolutely no person who is better suited to serve as a U.S. senator than Elizabeth Warren. She's a Kennedy/Dean Democrat with strong shades of "Ms. Smith Goes To Washington". You just know from listening to her that she's talking from her heart; she would indeed focus on & protect the common folk, the most vulnerable.

The beauty of this segment was the stark contrast between Matthews' antagonistic, in-your-face political points & Warren's "Ms. Smith Goes To Washington" persona (& an accurate one, I believe). She oozes integrity & genuineness; Matthews' style of questioning brought that out very clearly. So-yesterday political jargon vs. this-is-what's-wrong & this-is-how-I-want-to-fix-it substance -- an expert on economic, financial, & bankruptcy laws.

Elizabeth Warren seems fresh & new.

I don't think Matthew's show is going to last long, he's so old school and loud mouthed.

Why doesn't Elizabeth find something else in her wardrobe to wear besides that orange pastel blazer? She always shows up in that thing!

Back to the topic - I hope she kicks some big time butt.

Matthews can have Martin's afternoon spot.

Warren doesn't strike me as a woman who spends a lot of time deciding what to wear, & that's a plus. There are more important things going on in Warren's head. She always looks nice, though.

Maybe he'd do better to keep probing what is happening to Democrats all over the country.

If Elizabeth is heard and kicked and recommended across library programs and other community (free) papers, and the battle becomes the news it should, we have a chance in this war on the 99.9 percent.

She understands how and why the U.S. and the entire world is getting screwed and can easily explain it over and over again. Plus, if she wins she will likely be on the Senate finance committee where she'll be able to sincerely try to reform our corrupted financial system.
