Papantonio: Antonin Scalia Suffers From Character Leprosy

I read the dissent opinion of Antonin Scalia in the Arizona immigration case that was decided this week, and it helped me round out my mental picture of what Scalia has become. Without bogging down in all the details of what he said, the big picture is that Scalia has nothing but contempt for virtually everyone who is different than him. Everyone who speaks a different language, follows a different religion, and has skin that is a different color, everyone who has not been born into his anointed social class. Antonin Scalia is a sorry, hateful, morally crippled old man who will be shaping the future of this country until old, old age, provides America some relief.

8. That must have happened before the filibuster was invented, or the R's had over 60 Senators right?

I mean, we all know the rules are what keeps us from doing more than pass 90's style Republican policy bills.

We don't have a super majority. It is also the reason Obama can't appoint anyone but right leaning people (picks you really want only get through with a super majority I am told)

The Democrats must have only just now found out what the rules are, so it is not their fault.
