911 call about ISIS causes intense police response, patron's collapse at Avon hotel

American Terrorists

This is what I consider terrorism. A couple of days ago the Avon PD in Avon, OH., scared this poor, visiting heart patient half to death and gave him a stroke. What was his crime? Wearing traditional Arab garb and talking on a cell phone. Is this really America? Land of the free? This poor guy. I mean really, WTF? Really? Because some young girl called your "Police Department" and complained about someone "pledging allegiance to ISIS" you do this? This scares me. When you overreact like this you make us all less safe, not more safe. I hope this PD gets in sooo much trouble for this. I hope the Council on American Islamic Relations takes them to the cleaners! I hope the Justice Department investigates them. This is so over the top! Come on now! Where is this headed? Where does this end?

We own this, collectively. We've had Obama in office for 8 years, and Ohio voted for each of his 2 terms.

Can someone explain it to me? It's like these over-militarized cops are so jacked up and roided-out about their chance to actually go up against ISIS right here in Ohio! I finally have a chance to pull out my assault rifle and point it at a Towel Head!! From the heavy breathing while driving there fast and the military stance they take with an unarmed man, I would have been scared out of my mind. I probably would have had a heart attack and passed out, too! The crazy, frantic shouts to "GET ON THE GROUND!!" AND "PRONE OUT!" were scary as fuck! They were all screaming over each other and rushing around with their assault rifles flailing about. I could barely understand those commands and I speak English. This poor medical tourist did NOT speak English well.

The body cam guy was hyperventilating and said to his buddy, "Were you shitting your pants (about the chance to fight the WAR AGAINST ISIS right here in Ohio)?" What a bunch of bullshit. These yahoos with big guns are way, way to ready to pull them out and point them at someone who looks outlandish. What kind of diet of fear and xenophobia do these guys eat? Is it Faux News? What kind of craven, small-dicked assholes think it's ok to pull their assault rifles out on someone just because some kid made a juvenile, stupid sounding 911 call about ISIS!?

Oh but wait, THE GUY WAS WEARING A FULL HEADDRESS. That makes what they did ok, and they even said so themselves. That was the excuse one of the cops gave when he was on the guy's cell phone talking to his brother. Oh! And the guy may have had MULTIPLE CELL PHONES!!!!!! GIVE ME A BREAK! You can't do this! We do not live in a fascist state where you can scare people half to death based on nothing but xenophobia and racism! Fuck you Avon, PD. You have no right to scare people half to death and you make us all less safe with your overreaction to the cry of "wolf"!

The cop says, in all seriousness, the robe is one of the reasons they were so alarmed.
