can't forgive any of these cowardly yellow bellied chickenhawks that think that they could dodge the draft or buy their way out of Vietnam and then go on to become leaders of this country. I will never let them forget that many of the current Republicans CHOSE to sit on the sidelines and cheer. Cheer for others to do a job they were too afraid themselves to do.... I lost too many good friends in Vietnam to ever let them forget.... This man's son is a better American than Donny Drumpf....

It was in his freshman year at Stanford University that a young Mitt Romney took an early step toward establishing a political identity all his own. Students had turned against the Vietnam War, and in May 1966, they staged a sit-in at the office of the university president to protest the draft.

I do wish his wife had been introduced. So unfortunate. I am glad he put an arm around her.

This was a very important moment, this speech. Powerful!
