Some "positive news" to start your July 4 holiday......Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene and a fire crew quickly put out the blaze. None of the 63 passengers and crew aboard the plane were injured, the airport confirmed in a tweet.

(5,540 posts)An explosion could send shrapnel quite far. I'm sure the flight crew advised the passengers to get farther away than they were, but the crew was probably still inside until all were evacuated.

(36,828 posts)The fuel is stored in the wings and between the wings in the belly of the plane, so all that was burning was either the residual fuel or parts of the engine that overheated.

(5,540 posts)Maybe they should have gotten closer and impeded some of the emergency responders. They were stupid and should have gotten as far away as possible.
