(3,284 posts)Lots of plastic production, lots of waste. I applaud them for not advertising with Hannity, but they're not doing the Earth any favours, and I still wouldn't recommend buying one.
Dark n Stormy Knight
(9,776 posts)So no plastic waste. Seems to me that it saves energy, too, as I'm the only one in my household who drinks coffee or hot tea, so good to just heat enough water for a cup at a time.

As for the idiots smashing their Keurigs - maybe they should buy a Covfefe maker!

(9,090 posts)advertisers will leave those republican think tank propaganda operations in droves if our universities and pro sports teams were pushed to start looking for apolitical alternatives.
there are hundreds of publicly funded schools, including these 88 major universities, endorsing hundreds of rw radio stations.
all it would take is a few schools doing the right thing to cause all RW radio and fox advertisers to rethink those associations. for them to keep supporting those rw radio stations should be unacceptable to all americans who aren't trump and moore supporters.

(8,982 posts)What would be the next "logical" step for irate Hannity fans and Moore supporters? Don't list the house for sale and blow it up instead?

(811 posts)They should burn it down. Be sure to film it and put it on the internet! Facepalm.

(8,982 posts)the pyro-nitwits would need to proudly proclaim that their carbon footprint is now YUUUUUGGE, given the incendiary response to this issue!

(31 posts)That Hannity would support or promote boycotting companies that pull out. Why would any company join that time slot knowing this is a potential result?

(45,673 posts)Liberals would avoid wasting money on stuff that creates so much waste for landfills.
Liberals with low income would buy drip machines. Elitist snobs like me would buy whole beans for my grinder and make espresso or french press.

(15,394 posts)Early Bloom County strips had a character named Otis Oracle, who was the Moral Majority's field scout for Bloom County. In one storyline he led a book and record burning so he and his followers went to the local record store to buy some salacious material with Otis asking the clerk about Blondie - something like...
Otis: Ah, Blondie. Is she laden with moral turpitude?
Clerk: Moral...?
Otis: Turpitude. Is she laden with it?
Clerk: I don't know, man, but she is one wicked chick!
Otis: Super! We'll take 30 dozen!
Recall also that during the Iraq War when France wouldn't support us on our illegal invasion, conservatives were going to liquor stores to buy French wine for the express purpose of pouring it out onto the ground during protests.
