and myself (and her husband and friends). Even if she can't actually march she will have the experience of seeing it and being there. She was the only working mom at my school when I grew up. She was always a feminist and she deserves to be proud of it!

Last year I was separated from the friend I went with but ran into my sister and her friend (out of 40,000+ marchers in San Diego...they had expected only a few thousand). I left them so I could snake my way to the front of the March so I could hear and see the guest speakers. I am only 5'1" and do not like to look at the back of heads.

and was the first one to RSVP in San Diego for last year's Women's March and no one heard of it either. They expected a few thousand and over 40,000 showed up in San Diego. I have my name on a zillion resistance lists and got word about this year's March about 3 or 4 weeks ago then TODAY I got a new email from The Women's March anniv people so maybe they are just getting the word out now. There are over 200 marches in the US so far and I expect more to be planned. On their emails they always give info in case you want to plan an event for your own area if none currently exist.

It is always, always, always drilled into the resisters to use social media to spread the word about any and all events, campaigns, etc. I do not use social media so I am limited and must rely on people at DU to help spread the word.

were robbed by republicans and their Russian goons in 2017. Let's not forget that in 2018.
