I had to work and missed it all. This was very good, very inspiring. I got all teary a couple of times, it is so wonderful to see women coming out and hanging together to facilitate change. I am not a big fan, have not followed her except maybe for her acting but I have always respected the path she has been walking. She has done very well, she is pretty awesome and amazing. Will she run? Maybe. I have mixed feelings about people who have little to no experience with government running for president but I am sick to death of leaders who manage to squeak around actually cutting to the chase and getting real, actual help to those who need it. What Oprah has in her heart is what we need in that matter. It does make her very appealing.

I'm with the people who think the more experience a candidate has, the more oppo campaigning the 45 mob will do to get people to stick with him, even if 45 really is the worst in history.

Off the top of my head, Oprah has built worldwide businesses and girls' schools; she's got worldwide name recognition. She got all that without mob help, dubious loans, tax evasions, stiffing her employees or strategic bankruptcies.

Every movie she's produced or directed is a major commandeering of thousands of people, so she's got executive experience. Her vision will get all the best legal advice a candidate and/or president could get.

If she runs, I'm with her.

and not just write her off. At this point I worry that we need compassion just about more than anything. It has gotten so cruel and people are in such dire situations that maybe having a good team around her to navigate the government while she works it to bring compassion and love and caring and community back would work. It surely depends on a lot, I am happy to wait and see if she wants to do this and who she will surround herself with. It will have to be a very good and strong and experienced team.

I agree that 45 will drag every single person involved through the mud but then he IS the mud so I am not sure enough people would care what he said. Sadly I have seen a ton of men saying a lot of nasty things, going low and trying to take her down. Are there enough of them? Not sure, remember Alabama. I think enough white women are ready to join the black women to take down the abusers of their sex and the lives of others. Long way to go, it was one hell of a speech and she is a woman with a big heart.
