I'll bet a lot of Southern Liberals, particulary of the Boomer and Gen X generations, have gone through a similar process. We were virtually forcefed the "Glorious Lost Cause" when I was a child back in the fifties. I like how this guy explains it aint about you.

I like this guy Brandon. I wasn’t sure what he was going to talk about— never saw that show, though. I didn’t watch much television in college and grad school.

Anyway, this has given me a whole new appreciation of Tennessee Brandon. I’m glad I didn’t miss it.
