cheap rotgut the wino's guzzled. I was right by the wine display with a couple salesmen and the beverage department manager at a big supermarket one morning, like about 6:30. This old drunk comes over and grabs a half gallon of that stuff and shuffles off. With a straight face I say, "ya know, I always have trouble selecting a breakfast wine." That brought the house down! We were gutrolling with laughter!

Thunderbird, as we old folks know, was the quintessential wino drink back in the day, and it's hilarious to see this high-falutin' actor with his snobby accent pushing this rotgut. Thanks for posting!

Thunderbird was also notorious for turning your tongue black, should you dare drink enough of it.
