Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsMy daughter's bio-tech master's thesis research was published by Johns Hopkins!
it's about feeding the best proteins to lab bacteria specimens in cancer drug experiments. I guess she found a new one with much better results. I don't understand a word of it. Way above my pay grade.
WooHoo!!! But, remember, DJT is the genius.

I know how you feel, too. My youngest tries to talk physics with me and my eyes glass over.

(3,557 posts)Then I tell them about Marie Curie andhow she was the first person to earn two nobel prizes.
I used to work as a chemist and my boss was a female scientist as were all the rest of my coworkers (who also had degrees higher than my own). Women are just as brilliant as men, but society has been skewed against them. When we as a society encourage and enable our daughters to succeed, we all win. By empowering women, we double our chances for success.
Kudos to you, your daughter, and a job well done! I hope to emulate that with my own children.
