Mouse in the bedroom,

I've fled so I'm here!

Have noticed recently my regular bedside Tums has disappeared during the day, and tonight mystery resolved when I heard a sound near the head of my bed (which is flat on the floor, so nothing under the bed, and almost flush to the wall at the head of the bed.)

As I'm not keen on trapping myself, I think I'll ask my landlord, a friendly chap, to address the problem. MAYBE I'll sleep in the tv room instead!

Although it's a little disturbing when they eat their mice in front of you.

where there's one, there are likely more. They don't take up much room, but

Bedroom's on 2d floor, running down steep and windy stairway holding contrary mouse might result in injury, and not the mouse!

9. I can't stand the thought of any critter suffering, so I wouldn't want to hear or see the capture

either.

I don't like mice in the house though, so - they have to go. On their own or with help, but go they gotta.

We recently attracted an owl, so mice aren't a problem. The owl came for the rabbits who come out near dark to feed but they also help keep rodents away.

Got owls? Maybe put up an owl box to attract one? They'll move in, have babies, kill mice.

I'm with you about critter suffering. My friend wants to lure them with cheese, has promised they'll end up scampering in the field, and hasn't explained how he'd capture him/it/them. My landlord may not be as gentle, but likely efficient. I may have to leave (motel for a day??) Haven't figured it out.

I haven't seen owls around here, but birder friends look for them. I have Cedar Waxwings, bluebirds, cardinals, and warblers. and have rabbits (and squirrels!)

Good luck! Check for openings around the house - some place a mouse could get in - and close them off.

17. NOT possible to close off all the openings, too many doors and easy for them to get under them,

Not 'freaking,' but don't want to be surprised by sounds of little feet in the middle of the night!
