May be time to shut off the Christmas lights tomorrow

I will tell everyone it is a statement of resistance on the first year of Trump.

I was surprised last night. I went for a sandwich and took a spin around our small town. There were probably still at least a couple dozen houses with Christmas lights still up and running.

It has been quite cold here and is finally warming up a bit

1. Mine are still up, mostly because it's been so cold

that I haven't felt like spending enough time outside to take them down. But tomorrow will be relatively warm, and it would be a good time to do it. Except maybe I'll leave the blue ones up.

3. Yes, I noticed Christmas lights still up and running too. Wondered if it was a new thing.

7. Maybe the news is so depressing, people are cheering up themselves with small things.
