February 1987, SOHO New York, an outdoor sale, it was a bitterly cold February and yet people were still out and about, it was some kind of outdoor sale with all kinds of things being offered for sale. I was looking at some items and then turned around to look at other things and bumped into him. I said "I am sorry" he said "Pardon me" He was very polite. I stood there for a minute frozen, I did not go gaga. I wanted his autograph, where do you find a pen, paper on a street in SOHO in February in 1987 ? I am 5"11, he loomed over me, he is quite tall.
