The only one I've ever seen is Lake Itasca, and the Mississippi rolls along just a couple miles from my house.

A note - Dr. Roberts was instrumental in the formation of the Bell Museum at the University of Minnesota. The new building for the museum is being dedicated in July. My husband is hoping to go to the opening celebration along with some of his siblings. https://www.bellmuseum.umn.edu/

The San Antonio River is a spring fed river. Due to pumping, most the of time the spring is dry and the river is kept going via treated recycled water, which is discharged near the headwaters location.
