I doubt ANYONE on DU is going to be complacent!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me! Personally, I can't have MSNBC on 24/7 or I'd be thrust into the depths of despair and depression. I have had TCM on in the background (and also my DVR'd feel good go-to movies), I also have binged on some Netflix shows, and also have my feel good go-to websites.

My friends and family members and I have spoken and cried with each other about this horrible and unimaginable travesty. Exercise. It helps with the stress, anger, anxiety and depression caused by trump and the evil republicans.

Foreign Languages. It is a nice challenge and I like that it really annoys trumpers when people around them speak non third grade level English.

Ancestry. I have been researching my family genealogy.

Sketch Comedy. I have been watching old sketch comedy scenes from shows like Kids in the Hall, the Catherine Tate Show, Key & Peele, The State, Little Britain, Mad TV, Armstrong & Miller, Mitchell & Webb, The Two Ronnies and Carol Burnett Show.

British Panel Shows. I have also been watching shows like 8 out of 10 cats, Have I got News for You, QI and Would I Lie to You. I usually watch these while exercising.

I can't read anymore.

I am planning to completely tune out of all news and DU for 3 months to reduce my alcohol consumption.

Someone mentioned alcohol. I do that sometimes, but I pull back when necessary.

We all need some diversion. However, I am still fully engaged with the local Democrats and working to GOTV. Diversions are just that. After a time, I need to get back to work doing what I can to save our democracy.
