This is my 9,502 post. After 15 years, I'm on my way to 10,000.

On average, 633 posts per year, or 12 per week. But I tend to post more during election periods. So I may in fact break that 10,000 post barrier in 41 weeks, sometime early next year. Hope I make it.

The idea of making small talk with a group of people IRL can leave me nearly paralyzed. But chatting on DU with my fellow Loungers is relaxing and restorative.

I'll skim Latest Threads, Greatest Threads, the Lounge. Once in a while I'll add a comment, but most times not. As I mention, I am fairly prolific during the election cycles. This last one especially so.
