Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsToday is our 33rd wedding anniversary! I can't believe I have been married to this guy for
that long! But this is a very happy day for us.
Hubby is making some great seafood for dinner tonight. We have a bottle of Prosecco chilling. I have lots of fresh fruit for dessert.
This is a good day.

(33,587 posts)We lived together for a year before marrying, so I say "34 years," my wife insists it's 33.
That may be because it's been nirvana for me, and I want to think its a long time, and that its less than nirvana for her, and she likes to think that it's shorter.
I absolutely love being married to my wife. It made my life worth living.

(33,587 posts)My wife is annoyed because I'm always counting things, particularly events in our lives.
I can't help it.
Of course, it's hard to keep your eyes on numbers when your in bliss.

My neighbor married on New Years Eve a few years ago. Best wedding/New Years party I've ever been to.

(63,926 posts)my son would repeat the vows, our dearest friend offered to sing and my dtr in law would accompany him on the guitar (since age had robbed him of his ability to play). But then I got into the whole feeding of guests and where that would be and it just overwhelmed me.
