I did it. Verizon forced my hand.

Made me upgrade my perfectly good dumb flip phone, so I ordered a used s5 from Cellular Country (yes that is an endorsement ) and here is my first post using it.

Ask me anything...except how I feel about the Verizon fraud dept. Not good for my blood pressure.

Now you can access DU on it, watch the national news, use social media, play games, text message your friends or family, and there are some additional cool things. I love the "light" feature for reading menus in a dark restaurant. There are navigation programs that will talk to you and guide you to your destination when driving.

Glad you''re out of the Dark Ages.

how does that work? I know they all share stuff especially out in the boonies, but how does it work out full time for one company?

Dark areas on my screen, and now the mic is bad. Was thinking about getting a refurbished iPhone 6, since that's what my company phone is and I like it alot.

Congratulations on your new device and especially on finding a provider you can actually recommend!

I don't buy phones from them, though. total rip off. Cellular Country sells used phones for all providers as well as unlocked phones.

The prices do seem decent.

Weirdly, however, EVERY product page indicates "Only 1 left!" That seems like an odd coincidence.

I've had a 5s for about 4 Yrs now, just the right size for my pockets

only problem was the original battery that came with it and I lingered to replace til it swelled ☹️ and had to scurry and replace due to an impending hurricane that I knew would kill my power and thus my damn dead battery...replaced it n an afternoon runaround and it's still clocking along like a champ

ur gonna love it

Get a waterproof and shockproof case immediately!

Be sure to set up the automatic cloud back up of photos and all other data like messages, e-mails, notes, etc. Also, backup all data to your computer.

Have fun! 🙂 📱👌

About a week ago the phone stopped charging.

I have a bunch of different chargers, including high output (2.4A), but none of them would work.

I was about to give up but I discovered a separate charger for the removable battery. It even came with another battery so now I have three. It actually work ks better, because I can charge batteries and still have the phone on me. All it cost was 15 bucks.

Because of that, and the disgraceful. customer service I ate the overcharges and went tmoblie
