I was given a 30 day free access key to Showtime... What should I watch?

Last edited Wed Jan 16, 2019, 09:46 PM - Edit history (1)

From previous years when I had Showtime access and from watching tv with friends/neighbors, I have already seen all (or most) of Homeland, Billions, Shameless, The Affair, Dexter, Weeds, Nurse Jackie...

Is Ray Donovan worth watching? Others?

Given a freebie, i thought I'd pick one or two to try to binge watch the next month... Thanks for your thoughts

I sort of wish I'd been given a 30 day access to HBO, honestly, but it is a nice break from all things Trump, nonetheless.

But I think you have to like both the original show, and post-Twin Peaks Lynch to get much out of it. It leans much more heavily towards the confusing surreal weirdness, and less towards the soap opera filled with interesting quirky townies than the original show did.

offer. I basically only get the networks and a few of those freebie digital stations like METV. I watch Amazon Prime mostly, but getting a free month of a premium cable channel is a nice perk (though I wish it were HBO)....

Once it is over, I will go back to my minimalist cable. I'd happily do the antenna route instead, but my area will require a roof top antenna to get good reception (believe me, I've already tried all the indoor models)...

Yes, Ray Donovan is a really amazing show. They just finished up Season 6 so it's a good time to binge watch it.
