Did Europeans leave any indigenous people alone where they lived?!

I do know European immigrants use to go out at night on shooting parties and kill Natives. Then there was indoctrination, where they took Native children away from their families and forced them into their schools and did not allow them to speak their language. I think Australia is vast and much of it is wild and so maybe there is not such as problem of having to push Natives off their land.

Also I had wondered why Russell never has made a movie about Native Australians. I think his country would probably disown him if he did. He did make a movie about Gallipoli and Australians fighting there, but he could have gone back far in time to when Australia was taken over by Europeans.

I really like the Austrialian Native actor David Gulpilil. Another good movie is Ten Canoes.
