What do you think of the ubiquitous long hair style?

It really bothers me to see almost ALL women on TV wearing a hair style that I would have reserved for a romantic date. I feel an almost palpable sense of relief when Judy Woodruff or Rachel Maddow or Amy Walter or that lady that covers the supreme court for the Newshour appear. That's frankly all the women I can think of who have bucked the trend.

Does it bother any of the rest of you?

but then I don't really care what people do with their hair and I don't watch much TV news.

I'm a little tired of slicked-back long hair (I really noticed it at the SAG awards recently), I think it's kind of severe, but if people are comfortable that way, fine by me.

drove me insane (and not only because I detest her with a passion) slinging her hair over shoulder to shoulder and running her hands through it constantly. I was just hoping (among other things) that Maher would jump out with sheers and chop it all offf.

Unlike prior generations, women of a certain age aren't required to chop all their hair off.

I do wear my hair pulled back from time to time.
