he was good size with the curled back tail. He would lay in the snow when it was zero out and play.
I would take him with me at Christmas to go in the woods and cut down our tree and he would pull it on my sled. He didn't really care to do that but he did.

I couldn't get them to wear booties even when the path was solid subzero ice. (( did use the old Iditarod trick of spraying PAM on their paws though, which helps). Of course I want them inside with me when it is really cold (and ultimately insist), but really, some dogs were made for this...
