Went axe throwing Sunday

Apparently this is a trending business. The place i went to had 12 lanes. So much an hour per person. Two sizes of axes to choose from. You get about a two minute tutorial. They had rules for three different games. You throw at planks of wood screwed to the wall with a target painted on them. Distance was about 12 feet. I had fun, just wish the person i was playing against would have given me some competition. First round of ten throws, 8 of mine stuck and only one of his did. Not sure what he was doing wrong, but something. This place had leagues available. I would do it again, but just occasionally.

Spelling it axe because that's how the business had it.

Have you been to an axe throwing business, if so, did you have fun?

Peace

I saw an 89 year old woman take her first lesson at the Laguna Mountain Rendezvous or Manzanita Rendezvous and nail the target, so apparently it's not all that tough. The Rendezvous is held twice a year and recreates an 18th century fur trading camp; they also teach black powder shooting skills and all dress up like mountain men.

I have a bad shoulder so didn't try it myself.

There's a place near Julian, CA called Fort Cross Old Timey Adventures that gives lessons, too, at some of their events.
