With the passing of Doris Day it felt like it was a finalization of an era. Now this only relates to those of that who were in our entertainment sphere/exposure. I tired and tried to think of any icon's from that time that may still be around. I couldn't easily come up with anyone.
But then, I remembered Kirk Douglas. He is still with us. Long live Spartacus!

Bette White is special but not part of my cinema experience- TV yes- but not the same residual memory experience.
