I enjoy reading old threads from time to time.

it's interesting to see what the hot topics were some years ago and DUers opinions about them.

I also see many familiar names that I realize I haven't seen post recently and I look at their profile. Some have been PPR'd, others didn't agree to abide by the TOS, some have been flagged for review, and others just stopped posting without any kind of heads up that they'll be leaving.

Here are three members who I spotted in one thread and looked at their profiles:

Bobbie Jo, a member since 2006, hasn't posted since Fri Sep 28, 2018, 02:07 PM.
MADem, a member since 2004, last posted on Wed Sep 27, 2017, 12:03 AM.
ZombieHorde, a member since 2007, last posted on Sun Nov 6, 2016, 10:50 PM.

Some folks could just pass on without anyone to ever let us know that they're no longer among us.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
