My mother was just diagnosed with Glioblastoma last week. Neil was a giant among giants in rock. I only got to see them once on their 30th anniversary tour but it was fantastic. I grew up on their music it was a big influence and the into to my prog rock era.

Exit stage left Neil.

I have a friend who is a drummer, who's been around, and Neil was his alpha and omega. I'm sure it's the same for many other players. In terms of power, precision, and innovation, he had no peers. Many drummers have part of that equation. None of them are Neil. R.I.P.
