It's 2:45 am, mid January, and 64 degrees

I’m on the porch having a smoke in a tee shirt and no shoes. Usually this time of year it’s below freezing, often with wind chill dipping it to around zero. Hell, we got 4 in. of snow just a few days ago.

I hope DUers in areas hit by the storms are doing ok.

Last year we had several instances of 20 below. I'm not complaining but it sure is unusual.

from the walks and driveway. It certainly has been far too warm this year, but not at the current moment.

Saturday was wet and windy with rain, freezing rain and sleet. This is only the 2nd bout of cold weather we've seen so far this winter. We aren't known for harsh winters, but this year has been milder than usual.

The temperature is 73° which is 20 degrees above normal. No wonder the plants are blooming ahead of spring and the mosquitoes live year round.

and according to my WU app. It feels like it feels like 72. Too, hot for this time of year. 68 degrees is decent for me, if I am sitting still.

If I am up and about, doing housework, I'm sweating.

Last week, opened windows and left them open all night.

Colder this weekend, but supposed to hit 60 again midweek.
