I'm curious about the Best Supporting noms for Brad Pitt and Tom Hanks.
Why did they receive nominations for "Best Supporting" rather than "Best Actor"?
Were they not in the movies enough to warrant "Best Actor" nominations?

I think you'll like it---particularly if you've been around long enough to actually remember 1969.
