I would get impeached for yelling at FEDEX on their 800 number.
They said they delivered my contact lenses but I never got them and they refused to pay a claim I filed because I checked the box that said it could be delivered without a signature.

(23,166 posts)It was the 5th day after major surgery, my caregiver was out getting meds & food so I was alone and drugged out, on major meds. This asshole co. delivers this machine, says it's 100% covered by Wellcare, use it for 3 months then it will turn off and I should return it to them. I call my dr. and he verifies he orders this and its' covered by insurance. After 3 months I call and they say no, it's really 9 months, not 3. A month later I get a bill for $900, I call and tell them I was told I wouldn't be billed and they said disregard, they'd investigate. Next month I get another bill. I call them 10x, they don't answer or return my calls, so I called Wellcare. A week later they called and said yes I owe this as DME, because I'm buying it. I explain I didn't buy it, have to return it. They say, take it up with the ordering doctor and the DME co.
I totally feel like they took advantage of a drugged up old lady and am mad as hell. I wish I had never answered that knock, but I was kinda out of my mind and the dog was going insane at the door & he wouldn't leave. I have perfect credit now so really hate to have it fucked up but do not want to pay $900 for something I was told over and over was free. I'd sue them in small claims but they are in TX - the fuckwads.
