People who have bad timing (how do you change it?)

I think Im one of them, Im not deeply spiritual, so I thought I would put this here.

It seems pretty consistent with me and thruout my life.

Here are some examples.

1: Go to the beach, cloud cover comes over, leave the beach the sun comes out.

2: Stand in line, anywhere, the line Im in moves slowly, change lines, that line moves fast.

3: I left a job, because of a couple of horrible awful managers, two weeks after I left, they
both got fired.

4: I use to travel a lot, airtickets were expensive, when I stopped travelling, prices went down.

5: Walking home from work, go a certain way to avoid some bee hives, only to sprain my ankle on
a bump in footpath.

6: Go a cricket match, pick a spot on a hill, and some seven foot guy sits right inb front of me.

7: Same as six, but a picture theater.

And so on and so on and so on.

Im not talking about bad luck, everybody seems to have good and bad luck, but for all my
years on this earth, I seem to have bad timing.

So heres my long shot, how do I change it?

The thing is, you don’t take into consideration all the times those things don’t happen And things go fine.

- You go to the beach and it’s sunny the whole time you’re there
- You stand in line and your line moves faster.
- You buy an item or get a ticket to a movie or to travel and just after you get it they raise the prices.
- You pick a great place to sit in a stadium or in the movie theater and no one sits in front of you blocking your view.

A disappointing situation becomes more of an issue than the time everything goes right because then you don’t even think about it.

I would always get in the wrong line in the grocery store, hit every red light. What I did was start noticing the opposite, every time I hit the right line and every light that was green and I would say today I am lucky. Turn it around.

Fla Dem is Right. I often feel like you do brettdale.
But a few years ago I tried an experiment Called “positive appreciation” is was that every day for at least a month.
I had to find at least 1 thing to be positive about or appreciate no matter how small. It could be that the car started or the hot water worked when I took a shower or something larger.
Think about it when the car normally starts we don’t think about but when it doesn’t start we get upset. Same with hot water in the shower.
So if I forced my self to notice the good things.
I realized more good things happened then I realized.
Now I also admit that I find my self in a slump often and have to remind myself to do it again. In fact the other day I put the positive appreciation sticker on my computer for a reminder. If nothing else when I get to work I can say yes the car started today and bonus I made it to work in one piece! Even if the commute was a little scary😊
