white, red, or blue? I prefer the blue Grand Reserve myself, although Rochefort 10 is infinitely better.

i had some cheap Australian merlot because I had used it in making some Hamburgers Wellington. Turned out to be one of my more popular experiments.

And before that, while I was getting inspired on what to cook in the HW, I was drinking some Magic Hat #9 beer.

I'm on a week's "staycation" and have been very leisurely getting stuff done and enjoying myself along the way and being somewhat of a lush the last few days.

Had some Italian Pinot Grigio as I prepared ( and ate ) Linguine with homemade white clam sauce. Really outdid myself on the sauce BTW.

Watched a movie while having a couple of Penn Pilseners from a case I've been saving and drinking sparingly since last winter. Someone was up that way and got me some. Simply the best all-round beer I've ever had. I'd describe it as a slightly less hoppy version Samuel Adams Boston Lager, but just as chewy.

Finishing up flying a few hours of flight sims and just checking emails and last minute unwinding as I surf the net a bit with a few Tecate beers ( in cans no less! ) as they seem to have the best combination of low alcohol content vs taste.

Hell, I might even knock back a shot of some Bushmill's Irish whiskey since I don't have to be up early or any other reason tomorrow. Got all my home projects done. Life's good.
