Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsOK, yes, all right already, I'll admit it. I loved the movie "Rock of Ages"
Def Leppard, Poison, Warrant, Journey, Pat Benetar, Guns N Roses, Joan Jett. What's there not to love? Oh yeah, there was a plot, or something.

(28,394 posts)I think it looks like a lot of fun though.
How was Tom Cruise? I don't know what role he played, but I think of him as too "old" somehow.

Though, I *despise* the song "We Built This City" -- another good reason to rent it so I can fast forward... or mute.

(12,132 posts)the cool guys got "We Built This City" and the uptight authoritarians got "We're Not Gonna Take It" in the big dueling songs scene.
Lyrically it made sense and I understand it but dayyyyyum WBTC is a terrible song.....musically it was an awful choice - but maybe done on purpose because the whole thing was just campy fun.
And it really was a fun movie.
