he'd have to endure people point him out as the guy who lost that eye by a fragment of flying yeast filled duck.

I mean, I know that it's a terrible thing that the duck exploded, and really wish it didn't happen to the poor duck. But, after 110 yrs, I think we can laugh at it a little.

And to underscore to everyone that it's ducks, in general, that make me laugh (even the exploding kind), here's Gus Visser and his singing duck:
