(6,140 posts)I can relate to the problem. I had to take my cats off the nip a few weeks ago. Their attitudes were becoming disrespectful, their language coarse and vulgar and their table manners unacceptable. The last straw came when I was informed by a neighbor that she had observed all four of them roaming the neighborhood wearing hoodies.
Their behavior has improved somewhat, but until they begin to comport themselves like decent God-fearing felines, the nip stays in the bag. I would advise all DU Lounge readers to watch their cats for signs of catnip addiction.
Great LOL pics this week, Salmon! Thank you!
SalmonChantedEvening
(31,955 posts)Happy Sunday, zanana1. Thank you for this.

(18,998 posts)You should have shown them the movie "Catnip Madness" when they were kittens...now you will have to put up with the withdrawal symptoms.

(18,219 posts)That duckling has a real problem (not to mention the cat). Ducks love water....cats, not so much. I wonder if the duck will ever learn to swim!
And little kitty sure is smart! And tough. They could not have made it more of a challenge if they tried.

(206,983 posts)But I do know folks without "empty nests" who see their kittehs as their babies. Not to mention me and Jack, LOL. Saw the puppy again this week and he's not so much getting bigger, but is getting longer... This week I'll have to bring my own cell phone camera...
