The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI see that Kali's old thread about MiddleFingerMom has gotten kicked back up.....
I just want to let all of you know that he is no longer in the hospital!
He went home some time ago, and is now well, and posting nearly daily.
Of course, your good vibes are much appreciated, but I didn't want anyone to think that he 's still in the hospital, and still fighting for his life.

(33,057 posts)The Lounge is supposed to be a friendly, welcoming place for everyone.
No cliquish behavior. No drama. No political arguments.

(20,176 posts)The OP can lock it or alter the thread title if they see fit.
(I know that seems silly but it's been drilled to us repeatedly how limited our locking parameters are. If the OP is within SOP, we cannot lock. Full stop. End-of-story. No exceptions. A few of us have been spoken to regarding good-faith locks outside our scope.)

(17,091 posts)I haven't even deleted a post, yet, I don't think. Nobody hid or jury blacklisted, either. I guess I'm not much of a DU Power User.
Thanks for the clarification.

(20,176 posts)I did mean delete the OP, but I really don't think the Admins are going to say too much if she locks her own thread since she could just as easily edit it to be clearly off-SOP before locking it as off-SOP.

(17,091 posts)I could make the argument based on Ptah's post above that it has become a "drama" post by changing circumstances. I really dislike it when OPs are deleted from lengthy threads; it muddles the context badly too often.
