(1,013 posts)My cat has it memorized, I've tried talking to him about it, but he just walks away, tail swishing.
He has a new habit, at 5:45 a.m. he stands in the hall and yowls like he is being tortured.
I dunno why. But it seems to be a ritural. The dogs and I finally get up, and that seems to make him happy.
They are a difficult creature. Obviously you know that too. They just don't come with instructions. Why is that?

(1,110 posts)I relented and gave her an extra meal at 10:00 PM.
She is no longer with us after 19.5 years. A little extra food was a small price to pay for her self perceived well being!

EDIT: And what is up with 5:30am? Is that some sort of feline wake up call when ALL of them decide they need attention?
I'm surprised they even evolved. You would think that humans would exterminate them for waking them up that ear... Oh look. She's so sweet.
