they expect full containment on the fire this weekend

i hope, and expect, that they're sending the resources south to c springs. we've had some rain and higher humidity the last few days and i can feel the calm in the air. i am so grateful for everyone who fought that beast.

i'm keeping everyone down south in my thoughts.

they've gotten a bit of rain down there too and the weather is cooperating more and they've made some progress.

i hope they can get a handle on it soon.

Nothing like a little rain, hey? And all those very determined firefighters...

Hang in there, sweetie...

Good luck to Colorado Springs, too...

there's a lot of nastiness that will wind up in the river with each heavy rain. had one last night and the river turned black.

the springs is getting a bit of rain, too and they said they made some good progress today. still, i can't imagine it.

thanks, peggy
