I think a good left-handed reliever is their weakness. That might get them to go away. Ikonoklast Jun 2012 #10

Try pennyroyal. It grows like a groundcover and everything seems to hate it. HopeHoops Jun 2012 #12

we had, that didn't kill them off? They're in my house. I keep looking for a source but haven't found one.

Then there's usually a couple of gnats flying around me at work. I wondered, "Did they follow me here? Are they in my clothes? What is it?"

I've never seen anything like it. We didn't have a winter to speak of, and I wondered at the time if bugs were going to be a problem this summer, since they weren't killed off last winter.

Ugh.....but we're having some great conversation.....well, we're listening to the Brewers getting killed by the Diamondbacks....and we're enjoying June 29th, the ACA being voted legal, and oh, by the way, smoking the good stuff is in the plan too.

I bought one for my husband to try. He's our family mosquito magnet. We live in a wooded area, and he said it worked really well. He used it tonight at the ball game and said it kept the gnats away. We're going camping in a week, and I'm getting one for each of us with extra refills. One cartridge lasts 12 hrs of fan time ( so if you use it 3 hrs a day, one cartridge will last 4 days).

Good luck! The bugs are horrible this year. I think it's because we didn't really have much of a winter.

Who knew they were cannibals, though?

She gets 'bugged' quite a bit, while we're outside enjoying the evening. One website recommended 1::1 dilution of vanilla & water. I trie it for her and it worked well, and she smelled better. HTH.
