but then I said to myself, "self, you have lost some weight and it might be nice to see how much."

Virginia doesn't show weight on the driver's license.

So I then said to myself, "self, that was a wasted effort."

When I got my license I was 240 and it’s reflected on the card. But since then I’ve lost 20lbs so it’s no longer accurate.
