If you could only use 200 characters to impart life advice

How would you fill the space?

My entry:

-----

Enjoy others, and enjoy yourself. Avoid meanness at all costs. Practice being patient. Be slow to judge, and even slower to criticize. Be quick to forgive, and to give another chance. Life is short

I may include something about working toward justice and supporting efforts that provide the most benefit to the greatest number of people.

1. Go for it
2. Don't worry about what others think
3. Everything gets old. Comes a time when more money, "stuff", relationships or fame won't make you any happier
4. Read more books

from the classic M*A*S*H series:

Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice. Pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

In other words, take chances, laugh, don’t take it all too seriously.

Row, row, row your boat
,
Gently down the stream.

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

Always give yourself something to look forward to. It doesn't have to cost a lot of money or be something elaborate. It just has to be something fun that you will enjoy. As for the bad stuff: Rip the bandaid off. Eat the peas. Write the term paper. Call the doctor or the lawyer. In other words do the unpleasant things that you know you have to do and put them behind you. This will free up your mental space so you can anticipate the fun things coming your way.
