Any DC residents/regulars here? I need some local insight

What is Northeast DC like? Specifically H Street.

I know someone’s kid who’s going there for an event this weekend at night. I hate to sound like one of those “big scary city” types but I just wanted to check.

Not exactly the most streetwise kid.

it's at the intersection with Third Street.

ISTR that a few stores and clubs have closed up on H Street.

H Street was once a symbol of D.C.’s rebirth. Now, it’s barely holding on.
