Unless the milk is running low and we need to make sure everyone has some in their bowl.

though I don't like milk in my cereal.

If a recipe calls for milk, I substitute it with heavy whipping cream.

tho, i like the crunchy kid stuff. except frosted shredded wheat.

I know it's been bruited about the 'Net that there are perverts who pour the milk in first, but I've never met such a heretic. This is not like the coffee/tea issue.

A better question would be asking people to confess whether or not they drink the milk left in the bowl after the cereal's gone.

We measure it out by pouring what we wanted and then add milk. I suppose that you could say the same about going in the other direction, but I always felt that the idea was to have cereal with some milk, not milk with some cereal.

But, to each their own...

Just kidding, cereal first

I’m not a savage 😂 I don’t know always done it this way.

All it does is make it soggy. Then 6 hours later, I'm in agony. Milk is horrible stuff, skip it.

I cut some fruit up and that supplies moisture, that and my morning tea. This works for hot and cold cereal.

If the cereal is really dry, then a little apple juice or tea will work.

However, no milk, no way, peace out.

I do like my roasted 7 grain hot cereal from Montana when I feel like porridge, or have a headache and want less noise.

Then the pee

I think it's easier to see portion size by having the bowl empty.

then milk, then sugar. If you pour in milk first you could overflow it.

Then fruit, then milk last.

Cereal without fruit? No thanks!
