Unless the milk is running low and we need to make sure everyone has some in their bowl.

(17,217 posts)I know it's been bruited about the 'Net that there are perverts who pour the milk in first, but I've never met such a heretic. This is not like the coffee/tea issue.
A better question would be asking people to confess whether or not they drink the milk left in the bowl after the cereal's gone.

(5,175 posts)We measure it out by pouring what we wanted and then add milk. I suppose that you could say the same about going in the other direction, but I always felt that the idea was to have cereal with some milk, not milk with some cereal.
But, to each their own...

(111,383 posts)All it does is make it soggy. Then 6 hours later, I'm in agony. Milk is horrible stuff, skip it.
I cut some fruit up and that supplies moisture, that and my morning tea. This works for hot and cold cereal.
If the cereal is really dry, then a little apple juice or tea will work.
However, no milk, no way, peace out.

(343 posts)then milk, then sugar. If you pour in milk first you could overflow it.
