My alma mater Minnesota State University (Mankato) are basketball champs

NCAA Division II champs - women and men. Kudos to both teams and their coaches. A lot of Minnesota kids on the teams.

Division I hogs the national media attention and we often forget about the other divisions. It’s too bad because there were some very good basketball games in the Division II tournament.

I think only UConn has had both men’s and women’s team as national champs in the same year. Of course they are Division 1.

Feeling proud of my school tonight.

Congrats. The trophy should look nice with all the conference championships from hockey.
Might be the next D.II powerhouse.

a huge basketball footprint: Kentucky Wesleyan College with eight national championships and 5 runner ups

Div II does not get the respect it deserves.
Also, super big deal on both teams winning!
