The sole supports I put in my gym shoes. So I started putting them on top of a shelf made out of those interlocking metal grids. Well, those are essentially ferret ladders. One day after coming home from the gym and doing so, I left the room. Ten seconds later I hear a thud, and by the time I got back to the room, my ferret had climbed up 3 levels, knocked a shoe to the floor, climbed back down, and was in the process of removing the insert.

When I moved cities (this was over a year since my last ferret had passed), I put a lot of stuff in storage as I would return to get things over several months. Last thing was a refrigerator, and I decided to move it from a medium unit to a small. In the process of doing so, several small items my last ferret had stolen finally dislodged themselves.
