I will miss Mr. Hummingbird outside my window this year!

He is usually here the first of May or thereabouts and we'll be away!

Fat Robin red breast made a visit yesterday and Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal have been around, usually taking a rest on the branch near our window, on their way to their nest behind our house, one block away. They are my breakfast club buddies when I have my breakfast and watch Morning Joe.

Everything getting in leaf here as we go further into April.

I know nothing more about the birds who visit me, but I speak to them. Hubby is still asleep or he would look at me funny...

I was reading that they come back sometimes to the same place every year, and sometimes on the same day, mine came last year, and the year before, around April 23

It's just a really good song (amongst many) that I have my Echo (Alexa) play during commercials on all shows. It came to mind reading your post. I live in East Central Florida and hummingbirds are pretty rare here. They are amazing.

So we are constantly filling up the juice stations. We sure enjoy watching the little guys and so do the cats from their indoor perches on the windowsill.
