Has anybody been to the art museum in Seville? I am going to be there later this month...

I won't have a lot of time...we'll be off a cruise and on again but I have one full day and will get to it. I'd be interested in your feedback (I already have a good idea of what they have). Any good restaurants nearby?

Tell me what impressed you the most in the museum. I have my own list but I like to hear from folks about their faves...I'm always learning...

Thank you, dear ones...

Monday Closed

from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque era and up to the 20th century, mainly Spanish artists such as Francisco da Herrera, Murillo, El Greco, Velásquez, José García Ramos and Francisco Zurbarán, but also from foreign painters such as Jan Brueghel l'Ancien, Pieter Aertsen and Cornelis de Vos.

(WE had a Brueghel! Never found if it was the Elder or not!)

I'll take another look at their website. All those artists you listed would be very interesting to me.

Thanks, Ellen!
