For brief moments of weightlessness.

Today didn’t rattle glass or make the hummingbird feeders sway for a minute.

Just a weird sensation. This one did wake Mr Lake up from a nap. 🫨

While they were with us, the schools closed for flooding. They said that in Costa Rica, there was an earthquake that damaged one part of their school building. The teachers moved the students out of the damaged area to another part of the building and classes continued. It was quite a contrast

Hope you are all okay and that is the only one you experience!

It’s an eerie feeling but most people think it’s really cool.

A hands on science center. They had an earthquake experience set up. It looked like a diner with a table with benches, and a few people at a time could sit at the table. There was a dial you could set, but I don't think it went over 5.0. When you turned the dial, the whole whole diner shook, and the higher you turned the dial the worse the shaking. One of the kids turned it up to the max, and everything on the table fell off, and we were all sliding on the bench. That's the closest I care to come to an earthquake!
