I no longer ingest the things I did fifty years ago and might benefit from a rereading too, but probably won't.

Good Luck.

I've been in recovery for about 5 years - - - trying to be sober
I still think very highly of psilocybin

Enjoy!

you never get to test the boundaries. Sometimes, at least once in your life, you ought to expand your mind, chemically speaking. Your worldview will be challenged.

It's been about 50 years since I read them too. I don't know if my mind could process them the way I did back then. Suddenly I feel 75 y/o even though I do look at my hands as I dream still.

peace

Castenada became the wealthy leader of a mysterious sex cult.

The dark legacy of Carlos Castaneda

The godfather of the New Age led a secretive group of devoted followers in the last decade of his life. His closest "witches" remain missing, and former insiders, offering new details, believe the women took their own lives.

That's the way we did it in college.

A group of about four or five. One was the designated driver/reader/safety monitor.

Skinny dipping in a creek, with Coltrane or Stravinsky on the boombox, and a coed reading you passages from "Fear and Loathing", "The Urantia Book", Bukowski, Burroughs, or Casteneda....

Good times.
